In our Community Wellness Advocate (CWA) trainings, participants learn how to enhance their community's vitality by beginning or expanding a wellness ministry. They learn how to use Living Compass tools for teens, parents, adults and families to connect with their surrounding community. These trainings are for people committed to integrating faith and wellness in their own lives and helping others to do the same. Lay and clergy leaders are all welcome to attend. Communities are encouraged to send several people to be trained together whenever possible. 

The total cost of the training including lodging (single private room and bathroom) at the Nicholas Center, meals and materials is $300. Once your application is confirmed and accepted you will receive an invoice by email and may pay by check or credit card. You may also apply for a scholarship. CWA Training at BISHOP'S RANCH

Living Compass will be presenting an entire CWA training as part of the PNEUMA conference, October 1-4, 2018 at the Bishop’s Ranch Retreat and Conference Center, Healdsburg, CA.  PNEUMA is an ecumenical Christian Education conference for the west coast.  This year the conference will center around the Certified Wellness Advocate training specifically devoted to serving families, parents, and teens.  Along with the Living Compass training, participants will also have the opportunity to choose from workshop offerings in the beautiful setting of the Bishop’s Ranch, owned by the Episcopal Diocese of California and set in the rolling vineyards of Sonoma Valley.  

There are three room types for Pneuma: Single room (very limited quantity): $700, Double room : $500, Standard (dorm style, three or four people): $400. This price includes all meals – Monday dinner through Thursday Breakfast – as well as the room, conference fee, and all materials. Register before July 31st for the Early Bird Discount of 10% off!
